Hey Friends!

We just got back from our three week road trip so we are a few days behind on writing out our update. It was a wonderful relief to see the cartel pop-up tent on the road back in Mexico that stopped all traffic was no longer there! Whether President Trump's declaration of the cartel being terrorists had any tie to it, we don't know. But we know that it was God who answered our prayers!

This past month held two weddings for us. One was one of our church members who was a widower had gone through premarital counseling with Ryan earlier in the month and was set to have his wedding at the end of April when at the last minute he decided to advance it the night before we drove back to the States! And just like that Calvary Guasave had it's first wedding ceremony! Even though it was at the end of our Wednesday night bible study, the couple preferred not to have it air-lived and so we didn't post it on social media. But we are happy for the new couple and pray God's blessings on them!

We set on the road the next morning at 5am and made good timing. We are so grateful for the kids being older and not needing to make as many stops. I make sure to bring lots of sandwhiches so that for the first ten hours we don't need to stop for any meals. This way, everyone is quite ready and excited for some long awaited Chick-fil-A or In-n-Out burgers once we cross the border into Arizona….
