Conflict with the Prince of Peace

Incarnate in the person of Jesus...

God put on human flesh to fullest extent. He was fully man. Born of a woman and raised as all children are, Jesus lived among us as the only solution to the human condition. Nevertheless, to prove the full depravity of our hopeless state the authorities had the representative of all humanity killed, but that was also part of the plan. The divine good lawgiver knew quite well the full extent of the animosity of the human condition. He built the bargain around it. He used our condition to prove our condition to us and set us free from that darkness in which we all have lived.  

Every day we as humans have conflicts. Right there, in our conflicts, we admit, acknowledge, and operate based on God's laws, principles, and order whether we like it or not; and every day we have a choice of whether we will remain enemies to him, or take the bargain in the person of Jesus. You are dependent on him. No person can live independent of God no matter how they try. Not physically. Not emotionally. Not practically in way. You can do your best to ignore his presence, but you are not independent. “In him all things consist.”   

We need to make the decision to live consistent with reality and remove all the attempts for independence from God from our lives. All attempts to live independent from God, and even from others to some extent, are inconsistent with reality. They are an escape or even a rebellion against the designed order of the universe. Only in humbling yourself and living in complete dependence on God through the Lord of all, Jesus the Christ, can you ever find peace. This is the only way to end the conflict, and experience the ministry of the Prince of Peace born to us at Christmas.
